Indian Hemp & Haitian Vetiver Soap

Nubian Heritage, the purveyor of the great African Black Soap, has a wide variety of ethnic soap. Along with African-heritage products, they now have Indian hemp and vetiver soap. You can find this in several different brands, but I like the streamlined shape and tidiness of Nubian Heritage. (Some other variations of African Black Soap, for example, are terrifying.)

You can really smell the vetiver in this one, and it lathers beautifully. There’s also a bit of that green rope hemp smell, which isn’t unlike the drinks at Flaxella.

Nubian Heritage products are ubiquitous, as good as anything you find in Blue Mercury, and cost about 4 bucks.

This soap is terrific. I received it as a gift and it is one of the best soaps I’ve tried.
You mentioned shape and this fits nicely into my hand, even when wet and soapy.
It smells, to me, faintly like lavender. The lather is luxurious and lasting. I looked up Neem Oil: per the article I checked, it is treasured in India and used in Aurvedic medicine for many skin issues. For me, with my extremely dry skin, it is
wonderful. Even hours after a shower, my skin feels good and looks like I’d just applied moisturizer. Thanks.
